Joining the Independent Members Directory is straightforward. We verify your independent practice credentials, you choose your tier, and your member profile goes live. The whole process typically takes 5–10 business days.

We verify your business is operating legitimately and confirm the credentials of your team (CMA, CCMA, RMA, RN, LPN, CPC, CCS, CHES, and others). Early members coming from the VA Community Care Provider page are fast-tracked through this step.

All membership tiers require a verified business and recognized team credentials (CMA, CCMA, RMA, RN, LPN, CPC, CCS, CHES, or equivalent). Early members from the VA Community Care Provider page are fast-tracked through verification. Membership is month-to-month with no long-term commitment. Tiers are administrative and fund platform operations — they do not influence directory ranking or copay relief eligibility.

Veterans Desk does not employ, manage, supervise, or direct your practice. You operate independently as a licensed professional, and your relationship with veterans is yours alone.

We list participating members; veterans choose their own providers. We never accept payment for directory placement order, never refer for kickbacks, and never insert ourselves between you and your patient.

Our resources explain how the CCN works at a policy level. We do not provide medical advice, billing consultation, or legal guidance. Consult your billing service, your attorney, and the VA directly.

Veterans Desk is not a HIPAA-covered entity. We never touch, transmit, or store Protected Health Information. Patient communications happen between you and the veteran — outside our platform entirely.

Cancel your membership anytime through the member portal — your profile is removed within 48 hours. We may also remove members for license lapses or directory standards violations, with notice.
